Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence in medicine has witnessed rapid strides over the decade. It is expected that deep learning algorithms will completely transform the way Radiology studies are interpreted and reported over the next few years. This will potentially reduce the still significantly higher numbers of missed findings or diagnoses in Radiology and result in improved detection and patient outcomes.

The race for the development of machine learning algorithms for clinical use even in Radiology has been picking up speed, mainly due to the availability of vast amounts of data in electronic formats.

Over the last 12 months, ARI has partnered with some of the world’s largest AI companies and tech giants in co-development, annotation and clinical validation of machine learning algorithms apart from participating various R&D projects.

Grant from India-Israel Innovation Fund

Along with its Israeli Partner Zebra Medical Vision, ARI and Healthnet Global have won a substantial financial grant through the India-Israel Innovation Fund, backed by Indian and Israeli governments.

This also marks the beginning of a new Artificial Intelligence project which is going to be the largest project of its kind in this part of the world. The vision for the project is to play a key role in transforming healthcare delivery and save lives in remote areas in India.
